MoreInformation Admission Process
The admission test will assess the competency level of the candidate in the following three subjects

Finance 20%Objective type questions, covering basic bond mathematics, financial markets, basics of financial derivatives.
Mathematics and Statistics 40%Objective type questions on differential calculus - derivatives of simple uni/multi-variate functions, Taylor's series, integral calculus - indefinite and definite integrals of simple integrands, solving simple ordinary differential equations, linear algebra, permutations and combinations, probability and probability distribution, basic statistics and estimation theory.
Programming 40%Objective and subjective type questions. The candidate can choose to answer the test in any programming language of his/her choice

  • The objective type questions will carry negative marks for wrong answers. Unanswered questioned will not be scored.
  • The evaluation of the admission test will be based on the aggregate score of the candidate in all the three subjects and will be percentile based
  • Students must achieve minimum passing scores in each of the two subjects of the test viz. Mathematics and Statistics and Programming
  • Passing in the Finance section of the admission test is not mandatory, those candidates who do not clear the finance section will have to compulsorily take the finance foundation module
